Water Testing

Module designed by Kristi Scott, Ripley Union Lewis Huntington School District

Guidebook Download

Students are more likely to take ownership over water quality standards if they have actually had the opportunity to test water in their area. This module does just that. Students are able to go out and take samples in their local watershed to see for themselves the quality of this precious resource. Results can then be shared with local water departments and environmental agencies to ensure the protection of this resource.
