This module addresses the need for students
to develop life skills that combat negative peers and other
influences in the learning environment and in the community.
The module itself uses the Keepin’ it Real Curriculum.

- Local program/office on Safe and Drug-Free schools
- SAPP (Substance Abuse Prevention Project)
Curriculum Integration:
- It is possible to implement this module in a number of
different areas which could include; language arts, career
connections, health and physical education. In the original
implementation, ten lessons were included in the 9th grade
physical education class on a once a week timeline.
