The RULH 5th grade students recently participated in “Trick or Treat for UNICEF”. The students first got the idea of doing a world service project when they read about world hunger in their Weekly Reader magazine in Social Studies class. Each 5th grade class set a goal to contribute money to UNICEF as their project. Mrs. Harding would like to thank the students, their families and the community for their overwhelming response to this project. The students exceeded their goal of $125.00 by collecting $348.40. This money will be used by UNICEF for immunizations, nutrition and warm blankets.
