Jr.-Sr. High School Recognizes Winners of Constitution
Contest Coordinated by Learn and Serve Achievers

Jr.-Sr. High School concluded its recognition of Constitution
Discovery Week with a contest on the United States Constitution.
At the beginning of the week, the history teachers assisted
by presenting informative lessons on the United States Constitution.
For the last three days of Constitution Week, the contest
was held during the school lunch periods with students competing
on a volunteer basis. Brooke Cornette, Ashley Haughn and Sara
Haynes, members of the Learn and Serve “Achievers”
conducted this year’s contest.
With
the highest score and winner was 8th grader Jackie Davis,
receiving a twenty-five dollar prize. 8th grader Douglas Johnson
received twenty dollars for his second place finish. The third
place winner was Bruce Williams, also in the 8th grade, winning
fifteen dollars, and tied for fourth place was Senior Andrew
Zistler and 8th grader James Burns, each winning ten dollar
prizes.
